A Counterbalance Truck is a forklift truck which is used most commonly to transport heavy objects in warehouses and storage areas. The forklift is fitted with a counterweight at the rear end. This is there to counter the weight which is being transported on the front end, counterbalance trucks can vary in capacity, from 1000Kgs to 15000Kgs, the more capacity the truck has, the more able it is to lift heavier objects and pallets.


You should never use a small capacity truck to lift large heavy objects. Always use the right truck and weight to lift and store your goods.
